2020

2020 has brought us more surprises than any of us could’ve ever imagined. We have survived so much and it is just as shocking every time I think about it. If 2020 didn’t teach you to be grateful and look on the bright side, I don’t know what will. I have learned more than ever during this year. It was tough, but I learned to know when it’s time to get out of a friendship. I learned to adapt to new situations such as online learning. I learned to not take anything for granted. Most importantly, the obvious, I learned how to survive during isolation and how to survive during a worldwide pandemic. Lastly, I learned that it’s important to take on new hobbies and start new beginnings with the things you feel passionate about. If I could go back and forget about what happened during the last 9 months, I wouldn’t. Why? Well yeah, It was the hardest months I had to go through, but not only did I spend more time with family or friends whenever I had the chance. If I erased the last 9 months, I would forget my 13th birthday, I would still be in a friendship I didn’t want to be in. I would forget my sister’s 18th birthday and I would forget all the fun times with my friends, family and last minute vacation during the summer!. It is not near worth it to me to forget all the memories. Who would’ve thought what we would be getting ourselves into with 2020? If 2020 had a movie trailer, it would be quite the experience to watch. Moving on to the fact that this year went by so incredibly fast, it is bizarre to know that the New Year is just around the corner. I am so thrilled that I was able to start this blog and share it with you all.
